who i am
Hi, I’m Maddie Glosemeyer, and few things pain me more than a monotone presentation stuffed with snooze-worthy charts and jargon overload. You know the type. Brilliant insights hidden so well the audience is halfway through their inbox by slide three.
Economics deserves better. It’s not boring; it’s the story of why people make the decisions they do. My job is to take all that complexity and translate it into presentations that are clear, engaging, and actually fun to listen to. I show audiences the math behind everyday choices in a way that clicks, so they can spot trends and turn them into smarter strategies for the future.
From the very start of my career, I got to do exactly this. I began as an economic analyst and keynote speaker for ITR Economics, the oldest privately held economic consulting firm in the U.S. There, I worked with over 50 companies across industries like energy, construction, manufacturing, consumer goods, and pharmaceuticals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I led research on everything from government stimulus to global supply chain snarls, helping executives make sense of chaos and act with confidence. This experience cemented my love for communicating complex data into actionable insights.
I am native to Huntsville, AL and hold dual degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (go chargers!). Along the way, I received multiple honors, including the Research Horizon Award for accurately identifying and analyzing Huntsville’s early-stage housing boom and affordability challenges. In addition, I finished at the top of my class earning the College of Business Highest Academic Achievement Award and the UAH Economics Department Award for scholarship and leadership.
Today, I bring all of that experience, along with a genuine love of the subject, to help leaders simplify complexity, spot opportunities, and make smarter strategic moves.
