the MG ECONOMICS Approach
Economics deserves better. It’s not boring; it’s the story of why people make the decisions they do. My job is to take all that complexity and translate it into presentations that are clear, engaging, and actually fun to listen to. I show audiences the math behind everyday choices in a way that clicks, so they can spot trends and turn them into smarter strategies for the future.
My name is Maddie Glosemeyer, and if there is one thing you should know about me, it is my deep hatred of a monotone presentation stuffed with complicated economic charts and jargon overload. You know the type. Important insights delivered so poorly the audience is halfway through their inbox by slide three.
I’ve never been one to settle for dry economics. From the start, I wanted to do things differently and bring energy, context, and meaning to market data. That drive led me to start my career with ITR Economics, the oldest privately held economic consulting firm in the U.S., where I worked as an analyst and keynote speaker for over 50 companies across the energy, construction, manufacturing, retail, and healthcare sectors. There, I led research on the COVID-19 impact, government stimulus, global supply chain snarls, and more helping executives make sense of chaos and act with confidence. That experience became the stepping stone to shaping strategy in my current role and using market insights to drive commercial value.
I am native to Huntsville, AL and hold dual degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (go chargers!). Along the way, I received multiple honors, including the Research Horizon Award for accurately identifying and analyzing Huntsville’s early-stage housing boom and affordability challenges. In addition, I finished at the top of my class earning the College of Business Highest Academic Achievement Award and the UAH Economics Department Award, certifying my abilities to overanalyze anything.
Today, I bring all of that experience, along with a genuine love of the subject, to help leaders simplify complexity, spot opportunities, and make smarter strategic moves.
